Pink Sapphire Engagement or Everyday Ring with Diamond Accents

The color of this stone is a stunning raspberry hue with incredible depth and sparkle. This particular color is rich and elegant and we chose this pink sapphire for the quality of its cutting and polish, combined with its rare, sought-after coloring!

The stone is from Sri Lanka, also called Old Ceylon. Sri Lanka is the source of the finest sapphire in the world, and this stone is no exception. As with most of our precious gems, we purchased this stone on location during one of our frequent buying trips.

We've set this stone in a contemporary ring, one that could be used as an engagement piece, or worn as an everyday ring. Fine diamonds are set into the shoulders of the ring; their glitter and the substantial design of the mounting create a classic, rich profile. We love the way this seemingly solitaire mounting is surrounded by two "bands" of pave set diamonds, making the ring look like it has two matching bands abutting each side. Lovely!
