    Classic Art Deco, this white gold pin has a geometric shape, giving it a refined and sophisticated appearance. The shell is intricately carved, with realistic draping and folds in the yoga, as well as an unusual left-facing profile. Cameo is the art of carving a layered material, creating a portrait or landscape with the difference in the colors. While traditionally done in shell, banded onyx has been used in cameo work, particularly in Greece and Italy, for hundreds, if not thousands, of years.
