    What a unique engagement ring this would make! The mounting is from the 1910's, a classic confection of green gold, gold that has been alloyed with sterling silver to give a natural, green tint. The top of the piece is laid widened in to a frame, the better to set off the incredible Ceylon sapphire that we've mounted. The flush setting of the stone and the open work of the undercarriage work to keep this piece glowing and bright, while safely out of harms way.
