Emerald and Diamond Engagement Ring

Because emerald can be a fragile stone, we're always cautious when we set it into an engagement piece. This substantial mounting makes a great setting for an emerald! The prongs both secure and protect the stone, and the profile and shape of the ring make it easy to wear. The stone is lifted up high, letting plenty of light shine through. The diamond accents fill the ring out a little, and make it more versatile - this would work as well as a right-hand ring, cocktail piece, or birthstone ring! 

This mounting is vintage. We've removed the original stone and replaced it with a new, glowing green Colombian emerald. Like most of our precious gems, we purchased this stone on location, during one of our many buying trips.
