A library of jewelry, a passion for gemstones.
From the very beginning, Market Square Jewelers has chosen to blaze our own trail in the jewelry world. While other jewelry stores can feel one-size-fits-all, we have maintained our unique perspective through our reverence for vintage jewelry and fine gemstones. With the goal of marrying these two passions, Market Square Jewelers was born. We opened our first store in Newburyport, Massachusetts in 1984.
Since then, we’ve opened stores in Portsmouth, New Hampshire (1989), Dover, New Hampshire (2008), Portland, Maine (2014), and Cambridge, Massachusetts (2018). Each store is filled to the brim with one-of-a-kind pieces, from Victorian gold bangles, to Ceylon sapphire engagement rings. We travel around the world to hand select the gems that go into our pieces. You'll feel that spirit of "treasure hunting" when you shop our selection, each piece thoughtfully curated.
